Google Ads vs Visitors Origin

Hi,

I run an ads campaing for my Prestashop 8.2 eshop via Google Ads, it shows me, that e.g. yesterday I had 10 clicks on my Google ads. However, when I go to Prestashop back office, Stats -> Visitors origin, there are 2 rows: Direct Link and google.com, but the google.com row displays only 3 visitors, so there is a discrepancy: Google Ads reports 10 clicks and Visitors Origin from google.com reports only 3 clicks. Direct link row reports many visits but I would expect Google Ads origin should be google.com . Why this happens?

Don't rely on the Backoffice stats. They are not very accurate.

neither is Google.
Google is taking the mickey with user-data and people trying to make sense of those.

So is there a reliable way to know visitors origin and visited products for my Prestashop 8.2?

try matomo.  best is the self hosted option.
I use a domain for it which has no connection to any site. Free to use for clients.

If you have access to your http log files, search for gclid parameter in url
