Track
Good evening everyone. I'm still chasing issues with the Stripe module and their support is non existent. I'm going to try to uninstall and re-install the module, in a last attempt to fix it, before moving to another provider. Before I get trigger happy, I need to know if it's as easy as clicking on "Uninstall" and then doing a fresh download of the module? Or do I need to go into Cpanel and remove remnants of it manually? If there's a guide or video on how to do it, that would be really helpful! (Prestashop 1.7) Thank you. serenabrooks
Usually it is enough to click "Delete" in the module interface. However, residual files remain that can be deleted via cPanel or FTP. I was told about this once.
ComGrafPL
After uninstall also check files and database for any remains. Make sure backup before any actions.
Track
Thanks for the response. I had a feeling that would be the case. I'm struggling with the whole concept of Prestashop these days. For it to function and be considered usable, we are expected to buy modules. When something goes wrong, people then blame those modules that you've bought. You are than expected to find out which module is causing the fault/conflict. Then when it comes to removing a module, the uninstall button may as well not exist. Thanks again for the response. The negativity above isn't aimed at you.
