1.7.8.4 503 when authenticating to the Admin panel

Hi all, 

I have an odd issue.  All of a sudden, I cannot authenticate to the Admin anymore. 
Sometimes I get an HTTP 500 error and sometimes a 503. 
The issue is that my hosting platform does not provide access to the HTTP logs. 

I did not have logging enabled from the backoffice as far as I can remember so I cannot consult updated logs under

var/log

The front-end works fine.  It is really just the admin that responds with a 500 or 503

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I have enabled PS_MODE_DEV without success. 
No error is returned

Any updates before issues? Are the checkout page looks fine? Tried on other browser / incognito mode?

Presta and PHP version?

[Knowband Plugins]

Anything on the server error log (instead of the Prestasho log folder)?
