Sahil Jamwal
Has anyone got any suggestions on how we can improve our conversion rate or even how to improve our search engine optimisation as we're still ranked quite low on Google?
El Patron
It could be any number of reasons, poor visitors experience, i.e. when the visit they abandon to soon, do not visit other pages or do not complete checkout. visitors experience is most important organic for google ranking. it's all about visitor experience
jeanluc.12
I would suggest you to keep an eye on the users journey and activity what they are doing, eye on abandoned carts, what products are being abandoned, checkout various aspects like bounce, sessions, etc. Also you can do seo audit of the website and checkout some modules of SEO, I was also facing challange with the SEO and the URLs then I explored various modules but I found SEO module from Knowband that is a game changer for optimizing the SEO Friendly Urls. Go checkout the module:https://addons.prestashop.com/en/url-redirects/41448-seo-pro-clean-urls-301-302-303-redirects.html

Without knowing the shops URL its next to impossible to say something. Conversion rates is just one part, SEO another. It is fairly easy to rank number 1 having only a few sales. El Patron
at one time I offered seo work, used semrush to build comprehensive list of 'to dos' and the client always agree to have the work done....from more learnings I felt like a pirate and focused solely on visitor experience. Add FAQ with common questions and relevant answer that display within google search results is a really really good idea. While difficult to integrate separate payment methods into same areas, having 'express' on click checkout with amazon/apple/google/paypal/...others at product, view cart and top of checkout rocks....people love to pay with apple/amazon...it's amazing... adding social login and google on tap...that allows easy account creation...without the email abandoned cart is not actionable. look at the top shops selling your product vertical...what features do they have that you are lacking? use when possible filters (faceted search) at category/subcategory level so visitors can drill into products without going leaving category page.... happy selling... Himanshuinf
Hey! @Sahil Jamwal Improving conversion rates and SEO can feel overwhelming, but a few focused steps can really help. For SEO, make sure your site loads fast, uses relevant keywords naturally, and has quality backlinks. Also, updating content periodically with helpful info keeps Google happy. As for conversions, test different call-to-actions (CTAs), simplify the user journey, and make sure your mobile experience is smooth. Also, tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar can show where users drop off. Hope that helps.
