how to make faceted search in a bigger screens same as a mobile phone layout

Hello everyone,

I use P.S.1.7.8.11 with faceted search.

I have so many items in faceted search that I want a better layout for this.

I saw the layout on a mobile phone. And that's what I want to have on bigger screens too. I think it's easy to do with custom.css, but I do not know how.

slim down. Make another shop, or several, smaller shops are easier to move, more shops give you more options. 
Server plus domain can be around $US 50 per year.

Internet is not a main street where a Bodega or corner-store offers from condoms to milk everything.

Users are easily put up with too many products.

I use the theme Classic with a child theme.

Hopefully you have backed up your store.  All data, files, Database.
Those combinations can become quiete tricky.

Nicks, Thanks for thinking along and showing another module. But for now I prefer to stick with Faceted search and hope that a solution can be found. And there certainly is.
If I make a switch, I will have to go through all the products to transfer the filters one by one. This will take me months. And at the moment I don't have the money to make that switch.

I'm not sure about the name of it, but it could be accordions. 

On my mobile phone, I see menu's for the filters. There I see only the title of the filter. When I click on it, it gives the options. So I can open en close the filters. That's what I want on my pc too.

Now on my pc, I see the the filter title and the options all the time.

You need to change modules/ps_facetedsearch/templates/front/facets.tpl
