Abandoned Carts

Hi all, we have a lot of abandoned carts (probably not the only one). I wonder what the best strategy is to get some use of them. 

The problem is that we don't have ay information about who is leaving the cart, so I was thinking if there is a way to either do some sort of offer when the "move" away from the cart. Some way to get the cusomters to "wanna" buy.

Any ideas, is there any good module for it or some other way?

It's recommended to delete old abandoned carts, specially if you have lot of traffic, it is growing your database 😞 Let have a look of this module to optimize database and clean abandoned or empty carts past a specified date. You can use it as a cron task also.

There are alots of module avaialble for prestashop's abandoned carts which could be used to further send some discounts on the carts etc. Hopefully it will help to use the abandoned carts in beneficial way

Even if you want could share reminders for the abandoned carts  as well.

I have this problem to but i think many are generated by bots, i think prestashop haven't a good filter for that, anyone have fix the problem with carts created be bots ?

The solution already exists 😉
* The module can remove a cart if it finds a robot or a banned IP address
* It is possible to add new robots and IP addresses in the module.
* The module can also remove old abandoned carts with one click
* The module adds the IP address to the cart list to keep track of the IP address from which the cart was created

for clients we have been using this module to contact abandoned cart's, with this and maybe others you can initiate process in minutes after they leave  the cart, not 24 hours lates,  it's best to draw them back while they are interested in buying...24 hours later they probably have already bought elsewhere.
