Santietsit
Hi, I have run some test on SEO, and seems like google detects content duplication on each category catalogue page, as due to pagination, the same h1, h2 etc are present in every single page. I am thinking that adding the "infinite scroll" feature may solve the issue, but in fact, I am quite sure those URL still exist therefore SEO score is lowered. Is this really a problem? and if so, any idea how to solve it?
SeifF
Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. Content duplication on paginated category pages can be an SEO concern. To address it: Use canonical tags to specify the preferred page. Implement pagination tags (rel="prev" and rel="next") for signaling page relationships. Configure URL parameters in Google Search Console. Consider using AJAX for infinite scroll. Provide a "View All" option with a canonical tag. Optimize your XML sitemap to reflect pagination. Monitor crawling and indexing in Google Search Console for issues. Striking a balance between user experience and SEO is crucial. I wish you a good day.
