How to restrict certain products to be shipped internationally

Hi.

I sell pet products, I have some products that are toys and accessories and they can be shipped without customs restrictions to other countries. I also sell supplements, food and treats which may cause problems with customs in the recipients' country.

Is there a way to create an exception for some products or a whole category or subcategory so it doesn't ship outside my country? I can do it on my old website which I am upgrading now but I am not sure if prestashop can handle this.

Not sure how to do it for category or subcategory but easiest way (may not be quickest though depending on how many products involved) - just go to product page - shipping tab then only tick UK carriers for the items you want to restrict.

 

Then repeat on next item & repeat & repeat etc
