Cant add or edit any products

Running Prestshop V8.1.0

come in this morning and i cant edit or add any new products, 

the summary/description box can only be view has code.

and you cant switch between description tab or details /stock seo or pricing.

The save and publish button does not light up or work and the 3 dots for make duplicate does not work

There is a JavaScript error. Did you install some modules?
It threw a JavaScript error. 
Since there is a JS error, other JS libraries and codes are not executing. Therefore, let's try the following steps:

1) Open the product page.
2) Open the console.
3) Then, refresh the page.
Finally, take a screenshot and let's see what errors are there.

please bear with me has am o novice on the code and workings of prestashop.

i didn't install any modules.

the last thing i did was edit the pricing structure on on of the products for a discount

Hi,

Right click on the page > click on inspect. This will open the developers's tool. Now you have to navigate to `Console` tab, then refresh the page to see any errors.
