Can you try to upgrade to a newer version may be the version may have issues. Or try to enable debug mode and save maybe the settings are never saved and that's the reason it's always enabled. If you want to fix it you can check the network request when you click save the settings by network panel by CTRL + SHIFT + I. Any then you if have enabled the debug mode you can see the network response and you can see the complete trace of the issue and of If you can share the same response here we can further assist you accordingly.
