How to add https:// prefix without creating problems for the virtual product?

I would like to point out that the problem occurs on version 1.6.1.5

Since I added https:// it happens that with the Crome and Eagle browsers the pdf of the virtual product is no longer downloadable.

With the Firefox browser, however, everything continues to work perfectly.

It is clear that the link created by the system fails to replace https:// with the old http://

What type of action should be done to fix this bug?
