Change default value for order by

Hello everyone,

Im searching for ages, how to set the value of the order by filter on the store to "newest articles first".

Ill attach a print to let u guys know what i'm talking about.

You can navigate to Shop parameters > Product settings > Pagination: https://prnt.sc/AT_VlFNf3JCe

Change the "Default order by" to "Product add date" and save the change.

Well, i already tried and it doesn't work... Its possible to be overwrited somewhere else ?
