Add a Postcode (Zip Code) column to the orders list

I know it is possible to get modules that show carriers etc and I have trawled through the gridfactory files  etc trying to work out a way to do this but I am non the wiser.

Can anyone help me understand how I can add a PostCode column onto the orders list?

Edititng core files is not good idea, all changes disappear when you update store. Best way is create module for that. Extending column to add zip code need prepare additional sql statement to get it from addres, so it's not that you only add this column to view, you must also pass data to it.
