The experimental features do not appear if you update from Prestashop 1.7.8.9

Hello,
When I do a fresh installation of Prestashop 8.1.1, in the advanced parameters section, the New and Experimental Features page, in addition to the 2 New Features (New product page and various image formats), also displays the 12 Experimental Features to enable or disable.
In the case of updating a PrestaShop store from 1.7.8.9 to 8.1.1, only the 2 new features appear and none of the 12 experimental features to activate or deactivate appears.
What is the reason and how can I have this option in case of upgrading from Prestashop 1.7.8.9 to 8.1.1?
The update is done through the standard Prestashop 1-Click upgrade module.
Thanks

Hi,

When you upgrade from an older version of PrestaShop, like 1.7.8.9, to a newer version, like 8.1.1, the behavior and available features can vary. The presence or absence of experimental features during an upgrade might be due to several reasons:

The experimental features might not be fully compatible with the data and setup from your previous version. PrestaShop developers might have decided to only enable these features for fresh installations to avoid potential conflicts or issues when upgrading.

Experimental features are typically not fully tested or stable, and they might undergo changes or even be removed in subsequent updates. This is why they are labeled as experimental.

If you want to enable the experimental features after upgrading, it might be a good idea to reach out to Prestashop's support team.

Thanks!
