Order with 3 addresses

Have any of you come across a solution that allows orders to be placed with 3 addresses instead of 2?

• Orderer's address
• Delivery address
• Recipient's address (additional)

Orders for educational establishments are placed by the school, but the recipient of the invoice is the local authority and the delivery address may still be different. Therefore the need for 3 addresses when ordering.

Good idea. However, Prestashop is not ready for such changes. But it would be possible by custom programming the module. As for Prestashop 1.7.8 and higher, there are hooks and overrides that could display the third address. Another problem is the payment modules, which would also have to be adjusted.

If one had the resources, customise it or create module

Otherwise, put placeholder on Shipping Note for orderer to type the additional address. 

 

As mentioned, payment might be affected and several others, such as PDF invoice, delivery note, back office order detail page, orderer order history page, etc
