Multistore / Multishop wrong shop association of attributes depending on language

Hello.

I have a multistore / multishop with 2 shops running in Prestashop 8.0.1.

I have 2 attributes, one only associated to "Shop A" and one only associated to "Shop B".

When I create a new product with combinations in shop A, the attributes for shop A appear and I can generate product combinations.
But If I create a new product with combinations in shop B, then the attributes for shop A appear, too. The attributes associated for shop B do not appear at all.

To increase the confusion: If I set my backoffice language in my admin profile (from default German) to English, then the correct attributes for shop B appear but in shop A the attributes of shop B are displayed.

Something is wrong here - looks like it depends on the setting og the backend language.

Did anybody experience the same and solved it somehow?
