Sumup module. Payment ok but no order confirmed

Hi, I have a problem with the Sumup module. I receive payment from the customer but sometimes in prestashop back office the order is still not confirmed and the customer's shopping cart is still full.

Prestashop 1.6.1.12

Sumup module V 2.1.2

Can you help me?

Thank you

Same Problem on  1.7.8.8

However, this is not the case with all cards. With my Mastercard credit card, which I still have to confirm via the mobile app, it works without any problems, with the Visa debit card the order hangs, it is not directed to the confirmation page, but the amount is debited. This means that the customers want to complete the order 2 or 3 times and each time a payment is triggered !!

At the moment it's running better again. I think that was a problem with sumup? What bothers me though is that sumup doesn't have a module for presta version 8 yet, because the php version is running out soon and an update to prestashop 8 is mandatory. Apparently sumup isn't interested in that.

Same problem for me. I decide to switch to Ps 8.1.2 and use Revolut addons. All works fine

Thanks for your answer. So you didn't change anything and don't have the problem anymore?

We face this issue for months without finding a solution. The bug comes randomly

I don't remember exactly. I think I just reinstalled the module. There are still payments that don't work now and then, but it could also be because customers have canceled. The error rate is currently around 5%

Now Sumup is acting up again: customers are not redirected to the confirmation page. This results in double or triple payments. This often goes unnoticed because customers then switch to a different payment method. I had to pay back several hundred francs today. That's really crap!

I have now deactivated SumUp and quickly created my own module with the Universal Payment Module: when the order is completed, the confirmation page contains a link to a reusable payment link where the customer has to enter the amount manually. It's a bit more complicated, but it's the only reliable, quick solution. Then I don't have to worry about Presta 8, as SumUp still has nothing for that.

For domestico payment 1%+0.20€.

Revolut ALWAYS works and has 8.1 compatibility. Sumup randomly doesn't work and no upgrades available
