Question about statistics -> origin of visitors -> direct link

PrestaShop 1.6.1.10

Sorry my English, but it is not my native language 🙄

In the statistics section I can see the origin of the visitors.

OK, with Origin = google.com or google.de these are probably visitors who came by clicking on the address in a Google ad or in the google listing - right?

But what is "direct link"? Visitors who typed in our address on their keyboard ??? And if there is an IP address given - were those robots ???

I'm not sure anymore if our huge Google budget is even worth it😕.
