Stripe addon + 1.7.8.8, how can I FORCE capture? (Plus error message)

Hi, how can I force the Stripe addon (free on this site) to force capture payments?  The payment just fails over and over, and returns back an error after payment page:  "An error occured during your payment. Please try again or contact the website owner."  Then I go to Stripe, and it appears it has authorized payments, but it did not receive any capture information from the site itself.  This is just a fresh install of the newest Stripe addon, fresh install of PS1.7.8.8, and a single test item on the site.  Thanks!
