problem with google ads activation within presta marketing module 1.7.8

Hi, i am new to this, I have messed around with google marketing module and i can not connect now with google ads (have never finalized before) but i might have initiated it and did not finalize/reset at some point.

All above google analysitcs and presta shop ae set up and connected. just the last step on google ads looks like this below. Any clues? Ive tried to reset module, uninstall/install again, keeps being the same. separately from shop i have google ads account set-up and running campaign. any help appreciated.

in the end do i need this option working?

Solution! because messing around with google ads, it was not linked to merchant center account. Need to link google ads with merchant center, then it works.
