Have the Visits and VIsitor Modules been removed from all PS 1.7 versions?

I've looked through all versions of 1.7 and it seemes the modules related to Visitors and their origins are no longer in the package.

Is there a module to replace these?

I still see visitor counts on my Admin dashboard but when I click on the Visitors link the Stats page just says "module not found"

This sucks.  I cannot be the only one noticing this and caring about it.
