Canonical Url not working (not redirecting)

Sorry to bother. I've been bashing my head for some time. I've got in every product page the canonical url like 

<link rel="canonical" href="https://www.website.de/canapes-panoramiques/873-canape-panoramique-panamax.html">

but it doesn't redirect to that. It is generated by the module: "URLs SEO Canonical + Google Hreflang Pro", unfortunately the support time has ended, but i don't think it has anything to do with the module.

I've tried getting the url on the listing tpl, i've tried forcing the domain to www. , i've tried redirecting with htacess, i've updated the module, searched every option in prestashop... the issue might be simple, but i don't see the problem.

EDIT: After more inspection, i think the canonical has a status 200 (sucessfull) instead of 301...

A canonical just tellthe real URL of the page, if your page have many urls, google will take only the one written as canonical.

Canonical dont send 301 redirect or anything like this.
