Panel with links in administration 1.7

Hello, I have one question. In Prestashop 1.6, it was possible to change in the administration whether I want to have the navigation (black menu) on the left or at the top. In Prestashop 1.7, the option is only on the left. To save space, it is better to have a navigation with links at the top. Is it possible to set it somehow? Thank you Lenka

In PS 1.7, the template needs to be completely rewritten

There is no tutorial for this, but just use bootstrap:
