madpugger Posted September 4, 2022 Share Posted September 4, 2022 I am trying to install V8.0.0 beta 1 to a test server as per the release notes on prestashop blog. It suggests using the 1-click installer to upgrade a 'real' shop in a test environment. However, if I try using "Local Directory" I get an error saying that it cannot asses whether the version is correct, or the files may be in a sub folder. If I try to use "Local Archive" I can't as I dont have an XML to select? Having read the documentation for one click upgrade module, I can't seem to find actual instructions on how to do this. I have downloaded the Zip from Git, (the Zip not source code?), uploaded the zip to Downloads folder in admin/autoupgrade (both the zip as downloaded, and the zip inside it - neither work. I have also uploaded the uncompressed directories to admin/autoupgrade/latest/ but again, nothing I try works. Does someone have a guide to this?!
