Prestashop 1.7 - Warehouse theme - elementor elements not showing on product category pages

So after months of pulling my hair out, I'm turning to you fine folk of the prestashop community.

I'm running Prestashop 1.7.8.7 and warehouse theme 4.5.3 (all current versions at time of print) and have an issue that I just cannot figure out.

Whenever I save "elementor" edits on a product category page, they just do not show up. I've cleared all cache's, turned them all off, recompiled, and debugged and cannot for the life of me find the problem.

All hooks are correct from what I can see and all my other modifications are working perfectly.

Web address is https://www.westcountryspas.com - all pages visible are pages created on elementor but none are category pages as seen here- https://www.westcountryspas.com/4-the-westcountry-range (as you can see there is no content apart from a single product

can you post picture how you have set up category in admin section. I'm using warehouse theme for years now and this is the theme that actually works as it should.

When i use elementor design for category page, then i show only elementor design. This way i avoid mixing content. You can check it out on this url: https://trgovina-figura.si/si/kopalke

This looks to have sorted the problem. There must be a conflict between the 2 streams of content. 

I have tried this previously but whenever I changed the switch to yes, it would not save the changes.
