mlakey130
When I am in back office, if I go to my Categories and try and edit any of the categories, I receive the following error: An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Unable to load template 'file:helpers/uploader/ajax.tpl'"). [Twig\Error\RuntimeError 0] I can view any of the categories, I just cannot edit any of them. I am not a programmer so I don't how to get around or fix this error. I have copied form my info the following: Server information: Linux #1 SMP Mon Aug 27 21:07:08 MSK 2018 x86_64 Server software version: Apache PHP version: 7.4.29 Memory limit: 1000M Max execution time: 900 Upload Max File size: 256M PrestaShop version: 1.7.8.6 Shop URL: http://www.artwarehouse.biz/pshop/ Shop path: /home/f3ldecor/public_html/pshop Current theme in use: classic Does anybody have any idea how I fix this? Thanks, Mitch
kenoffice
Hello. To me is happening the same. I am on PS 1.7.8.7 but I upgraded from PS 1.6.1.18. I guess is an fault because of upgrade (if I install an fresh copy the error don't appear). I set the developer mode and on errors is looking like Twig and Smarty, both, don't find the ''helpers/uploader/ajax.tpl" file; I checked (both, on upgraded version and on fresh install copy) and the file is there (\admin\themes\default\template\helpers\uploader\ajax.tpl). So most probably the error come from the fact that both template engines (Twig and Smarty) are co-exist. As far as I know since 1.7.0.0 the Twig system looked to replace Smarty gradually, so most probably on Back-Office Smarty should not be called. And because I am on an upgraded version probably Smarty left somewhere. Is not 100% sure, I am still digging.

immergente
In my case I digged into the debug error message and I found the problem was "blockcategories" module, an old module which came from the old 1.6 installation. Deactivated and problem gone.
