Faceted search strange beahavior, possible bug?

The faceted search for Prestashop behaves in a strange way, I give an example:

- I have 3 shirts

- each shirt has the sizes M - L - XL

- only shirt number two has size M available

if in the shirts category I use the search to view the size M it tells me that there are 3 items even if in reality there are only 1.

Something must be configured to prevent it from showing items whose combinations are absent? or is it a bug in the search form?
