Quick view hint

Hello everybody,

I have been using prestashop for a long time but until now I have never needed to solve this question.

I'd like to set the quick view (the magnifying glass, to understand) active on the whole thumbnail of the product so that by clicking on the image activates the pop-up (quick-view) instead of the complete description page. I searched the web but i did not found positive feedback. Can someone help me ?

It all depends on what template you're using, and it's functions.

In classic template you just have modify the <a> tag surrounding your cover image, and add class="quick-view" and data-link-action="quickview"

Remember to remove your link address (href="....") and replace it with ="#" to avoid engaging the link's default behavior
