Change the default role

I just wanted to put the store in "catalog mode" when you are a visitor.

Basically, the idea is that customers who register will have the default role: 'visitor' for example. I hide the price, the add to cart buttom, etc. for that role / group and the admin when he want to "accept" a customer, basically go to a profile and change the visitor group to customer and you could already see the prices, buy, etc.

I know there are modules for manual client activation but if you can change the default group after registration and then change it manually from the Backoffice> clients it should work I guess.
