Expand all filters by default (faceted search in 1.7.7.6)

Hi fellow PS'ers,

I am quite new to PS but managed to setup my very first web shop, installed a custom theme and modified the CSS to match my colors, installed a bunch of modules and we are almost ready to rock using this aswsm platform. Though I do have one item for wich I am stuck.

We do have a few filters that our visitors can use but if you navigate to a page that has filters, the filters are collapsed by default like shown below

. The visitors need to click every filter to see the options they have available. I would like the filters to expand by default like shown below 

I already messed up quite a few times with modifications like "aria-expanded="true" in a few CSS files and TPL from varies faceted search files. When i search on this topic, there are a bunch of solutions but not they do not get me to the desired results. I am running 1.7.7.6

By default it is expanded so it must be your theme issue, fastest way is contact with theme autor, you can also share link to your shop with us that's will be easier to help.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will contact the theme creator (hiddentechies.com) and post the results here for others to learn.
