Old Paypoint Module

We have a couple of old sites running 1.6.0.8, main reason for staying on the old version?  We did so much custom work ourselves to get that version working perfectly.  In hindsight, if we'd waited a few months for later releases, well, that might have saved us considerable time.  Anyway, safe to say, this is a heavily patched PS installation.  So we need to stick with 1.6.0.8, but this question relates specifically to an old payment gateway module, developed by PS as an official "Made by Prestashop" module: Paypoint v1.1.2

Now, the website payments are processed by www.pay360.com / Pay360 by Capita, with website customers being redirected to https://www.secpay.com/java-bin/ValCard 

An email was received a few months ago with the subject "Pay360 – REMINDER - ATTENTION: SecPay platform to be decommissioned on 01 September 2021"

"We are writing to inform you that Pay360 will be discontinuing the legacy SecPay platform on 1st September 2021. We would like to invite you to upgrade to our Advanced Payments Platform - there is no increase in charges to do so."

"If you have not already upgraded to our latest platform, Advanced Payments, we would like you to take the opportunity to sign up to the platforms Explorer Account to start the process to ensure a smooth transaction. We also have detailed Integration docs to assist you with your integration to Advanced Payments."

The docs (https://docs.pay360.com/) offer some insight, but no other support is offered by Pay360 directly.  So I guess my question relates to the module Paypoint v.1.1.2 and how to update so that it continues to process payments post 01 September?

Pay360 are asking us to migrate to their 'Advanced Payment' platform, but offer no support or advice on how to actually do this.

ALL correspondence with Pay360 has been useless.  Countless calls, emails, the long and short answer coming from Pay360 being "we don't offer any support, so if there's no native PS solution there's nothing you can do"

So what are our options?  There are no updates for the module, the module itself is no longer available on the PS Addons Marketplace.

http://www.paypoint.net/ itself has been 'dead' for ages.

There's a plugin for WooCommerce https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/pay360-payment-gateway/ but of course, that's no use to us here.

To summarise, payments from the site are 'handled' by Paypoint (Pay360 by Capita), upon order submission, users are redirected to https://www.secpay.com/java-bin/ValCard 

The 'final' processing of payments are ultimately handled by Worldpay (I think)?  The email saying the "legacy Secpay platform" is being discontinued has raised concern, forcing our hand to review the payment gateway we've used the last 7 years.  Seeing as all final payments are processed by Worldpay, should we upgrade to a Worldpay module?  Can anyone advise which might be the best to investigate, to run on an old 1.6.0.8 installation?

I guess I'm asking for some help in troubleshooting, or understanding what we need to do.  Has anyone any advice?  All searches on PS / Google etc have proved pretty inconclusive... surprisingly, I'm unable to find anything relating to the 'decommissioning of Secpay and Pay360'... there's hardly anything.

TL:DR old Paypoint (Secpay) Module will be decommissioned 01/09, need to migrate to Pay360 Advanced Payment.  No support from Pay360, and no Modules available?  Not sure what best to do.
