Cache problem prestashop 1.7.7.2

Hello guys,

For 6 days I try to figure out where is the problem with my new upgraded shop. Shop  I have upgraded from 1.6 (latest versio) to 1.7.7.2. For data migrating I have been using a migrator from prestashop et2s.

Website address is: https://contactelectric.ro

The annoying problems we`re two at first:

- If I try to see products from any category, there were a loop when I try to see page 2. I have solved it

- The annoying problem is the following: if I try to install a new module or made any modification regarding to website, I no longer can access back-office, it`s simply redirecting me to main front office page. I figured out is something with cache building, I have a saved cache that work before the problem happen.

For example, if I try to empty cache from Advanced Settings -> Performance, cache will be deleted but I cant access back office anymore, I get redirected to front office.

If I install any module and try to configure, I get the same problem.

I have tryied the following:

- Installed prestools, but did not solve the problem

- tryied different scripting methods, no solutions.

Front office is working, without problems, instead I have problem in back office.

Any solution to this issue will be appreciated.

Regards.

Hello Gonzo.
Did you ever solve this?
We have the same problem with cache. On PS 1.7.6.4.
Worked fine for a long time, but lately we have no access to the back-office anymore in following cases:
- Clear cache from advanced/performance
- Delete folder prod in /var/cache
- Update a module (most of them)

Even if I disable the cache and then clear cache or delete the files, the back-office does not work anymore.

What should the clear cache button do?
Completely empty the folder /var/cache?
