Order splitting and incorrect totals in dashboard and on order

I have recently started a shop and have a bit of a puzzle.  I need help please to understand if this is a bug or config issue.

A customer has placed one order today for 2 items.  Both items, 1 item was in stock and the other not.  It has split the order in 2.  Also on the order with the lower value item the detail shows as if the carriage has been added on again (see pic).  The dashboard also tells me he has underpaid because it thinks the second order with the backordered item when shipped will attract carriage again.  This is most misleading.  Yet, he has paid the correct amount so I assume the final cart total was correct.

Why am I also getting an option to show exchange between US dollar and UK Sterling when I only have one currency set up?

Hi JerseyG, Think was because of carrier set up, but thanks for your suggestion. That does not account for why the sales figure is wrong though, unless when an order splits it automatically assumed you will charge carriage on the second delivery. That is not right.

You may be correct as logically if the carrier setting are such that each item is picking up its own carrier then the order will split. I found that unravelling the problem was a real pain when using version 1.6

Luckily I have not experienced this on version 1.7, but I would re check your carriers as it is the same as using a second warehouse.

Sorry but I am at the limit of my experience.

Good evening

I also encounter this bug on my site at random ... I noticed that often products out of stock can be ordered while by default the option is active sale impossible out of stock and each product is marked refuse the order out of stock...
I think I have to use a prestashop paid ticket to find the origin of this random bug but very annoying for my client.

Thanks in advance for solutions
