problemi con smarty cache e prodotti in home page

Salve a tutti, ho un problema di cui non riesco a capirne l'origine e di conseguenza, la soluzione.

Ho acquistato un template per prestashop, installato su prestahop 1.7.5 con php 7.1,  ho chiesto aiuto al supporto del template che mi hanno risposto che il problema non è nel loro template ma nel modulo nativo dei prodotti.

In pratica se la smarty cache è attivata i prodotti in vetrina, i nuovi prodotti, e le offerte speciali presenti in home page non sono visibili, mentre se si disattiva la cache sono visibili.
