ClassicalEquitation
Hi, I have installed prestashop 1.7.6.5. and the product images are not loading. I have tried a simple product as well a product with variations and none are showing in the browser. When I select a category the "loading" wheels just keep spinning forever. https://presta.classicalequitation.shop/153-cavessons If I select a product it will load but no pictures. The images are showing in the admin panel just not the shop front. I have changed the theme back to the Prestashop default with the same problem so I dont think it is a theme issue. ALso how do I get rid of the number that is appearing in front of the category see above link 153-cavessons? Can someone help me please. Mediacom87
Hi, While visiting your site, thank you for providing enough information to help you, I noticed that the images called was in error 500. for example, if you try to display this image: https://presta.classicalequitation.shop/272-home_default/lunging-cavesson-baroque-french-style-for-straightness-training-made-in-australia.jpg vous obtiendrez une erreur 500. On PrestaShop, each time you have a 500 error, it is mandatory to activate the Debug mode of your shop in order to display an error message giving more information. https://www.prestatoolbox.com/content/24-errors-messages-prestashop

Mediacom87
By going to your site and seeing the error message it would be a good idea to uninstall the pkfacebook module that seems to cause an error.
ClassicalEquitation
that got rid of the errors but I still dont have any pictures.
Mediacom87
You could try to reset your htaccess file by going to the SEO@URLs page and then disabling the simplified urls, you save and re-enable the simplified urls by saving again.
ClassicalEquitation
I disabled friendly URL, saved and then reloaded the page and got a 404 error. Went back and enabled friendly url and I am back to no pictures.
Mediacom87
Is that a new worry? What did you change to make this happen? Did you change the htaccess? Did you change anything on the server? What version of PHP are you using? Having a 404 error if you disable the simplified urls is not normal so you have a deeper concern than just the images on your server. ClassicalEquitation
The only thing I did was disabled friendly URL, saved and then reloaded the page. When I reset the friendly URLS the 404 went away and I was back to my original problem. I dont know what has happened previously to prestashop as I had a migration from woocommerce to prestashop done and the person I hired managed to import most things but had no idea how to get the images to display. He left without completeing the job. Now I am stuck with the problem. Would I be better reinstalling prestashop in a new directory and starting over. Is it easy to export from prestashop and into a new install? I have never done that.
Mediacom87
I can't tell you if it's better or useless or if the concern comes from your host, I just hope that the "professional" who did the work was not paid since it's not finished and it doesn't work. Do you have the same problem with the default PrestaShop template?
ClassicalEquitation
I have the same problem when I switch the template back to prestashop default so I dont think it is the theme. He may have done something in the background but I am worried that trying to work out what will take far more time than doing a fresh install and reimporting the data again. I am fairly confident that it must be a prestashop problem as I created a new product and uploaded the pictures just incase the uploaded images were corrupted and I had the same problem. How hard is it to export and import into a new install. By the way thank you so much for your help I have been tearing my hair out over this. Mediacom87
there are several methods, but everything is complex to explain in a single message, personally I would do a lot more than reinstall everything and hope to be able to import data that we don't even know if they are not corrupted themselves.
