Need fix NEW Prestashop change text from "No carrier available to deliver to this address"

Recommended Posts

Found this question (solved) and needed the solution- but it does not work in the new final release. Can anyone tell me how to do the same as below in the new final release? Thanks in advance!

">Can anyone tell me which file or place this error message is hardcoded so I can edit it myself and change it:

“There are no carriers available that will deliver to this address!” that appears on the shipping page.

I want to change it because this does not reflect the fact that the user has gone over the weight limit (disable carrier) and the user will probably be confused, this message only appears when that the case, I rather edit it to say something like “You have exceeded the maximum weight limit, please remove some items”

You should avoid making changes to file just to edit text.

You can use the built in translation engine to rename text (translate to the same language).

Tools->Translations->Front office-> click you flag, expand all and do a search for the text you want to rename

Select error messages or something of the sort in the translations drop down. (Where you're selecting Front Office) it's a term that's used in an error so it's not in front offcie terms.

Good luck!

Hi all,

I got this issue and break my head for couple of days.. finally figured out!! Please make sure to add the exact store address on your store contact information tab(especially Zipcode on contact informatin should be on your country's zipcode list!).

If it is well set, then check is there any field available on your shipping carreir module to enter zipcode or they may have field called Source of package... In "Aupost" Prestashop module, they have this field and i left blank without noticing it. Thus makes the issue at my end and finally figured out by analysing entire code.!!!

If anyone has further queries on prestashop issues, please get in touch with me at venki [at] navabrindsol.com.

Thanks,

Venki. N
