Simon Lee
Hi, I am trying to upgrade my shop from 1.7.6.4 to 1.7.6.5 but failed. At first, I think may be because I am running php7.3 so I downgrade to php7.2. It still failed. Enclosed please find the screenshot of my error. Please help!!! Thanks. jetway
Its most likely that the 1-click or a folder you are trying to update has the wrong permission set. Edited April 24, 2020 by jetway (see edit history)
Simon Lee
I have set all the folders and files in /var/www/html with 777 permission and www-data:www-data as owner. Please let me know how I can set the permission. Thanks. Regards, Simon
jetway
I believe all Folders should be set to 755 and the Files to
Simon Lee
I changed all the folders under /var/www/html to 755, except /var/www/html which is set to 777. If not, the 1-click upgrade would not let me proceed. Also, all the files in /var/www/html/ are set to 644. I also run phppsinfo.php to make all the settings are set as recommended. However, I still got the error as seen in the enclosed screen shots. What else should I do? Please advise. Regards, Simon
