Wrong Order Total Price

I found one order has a incorrect total price, in the order detail the products section showing the wrong price RM 8.02 (see image order price.jpg), it doesn't make sense because all the product sum up is RM 32.

But in the invoice the total price is correct.

So I would like to know what going on and how can I fix it?

 

Other orders is fine, just this particular order.

Same error with this Prestashop 1.7.6.7. We have an order and the sum is incorrect. The correct sum would be 140,1€ but the total in the order is 151,46€. I don't know where is the error. It happens only in certain orders, not all.

Hi Mikkels,

We did not identify the error. It happens sometimes in certain orders only in our case. Normally carts with more than 10 or 20 products. Some people say is the way of calculation of Prestashop which is wrong as it only consider 2 decimals.

Things I have done which maybe could be related, just in case it helps: 

- Check prices of every product involved in the order. In my case, I had some wrong numbers, prices like 1.999€ instead 2€ tax excluded.

- Update theme and Prestashop version.

- Check the Shop parameters_configuration round options, as follow (see attached)

Today, another case of wrong numbers.

Order products sum 82€ + VAT (21%) = € 99.22. The Prestashop order shows €139 in total. OMG, this is totally crazy and wrong.

I have found a way to reproduce the issue on my side.
The calculations go totally nuts when you manually modify the price of items in the order itself.
I don't know if this is also the case for your orders where the totally is wrong?

we have this error in prestashop  1.7.6.8, the calculations are erroneous when you manually modify the price of items in the order itself.

 

Prestashop 1.7.6.8. We modify a order in the backoffice and now we have have  the sum is incorrect. 

The correct sum would be 171€ but the total in the order is 266 €.

we don't know where is the error. 

It happens only in certain orders, not all.

Hi! I have the same problem with some orders where the Total Price in BO is not correct. I found out that when I generate invoice for the same order the Total price is the same BUT the quantity of the product is different. That means that some quantities are showing wrong in the order in BO and the Total price is correct.

I made some more research of the problem and found out that sometimes when customer add product to the cart and later remove/reduce the qunatity and complete the order somehow this old quantity shows in the order in the BO !?
