Multistore and stock management?

Hi,

I'm not sure if this native option will do what I need. Seems that the multistore function will just copy everything mostly to have 2 different stores and managing all in the same BO.

What I need is to keep the same user experience as it is, with the same domain, but for each product in the FO the customer must be able to see what's the stock level in each of our stores, so he knows that if it's available at Store 1, he can come pick it up, or if it's inly available Online then the delivery would take 4 days.

Using the actual functionality of Multistore on PS 1.7.6 seem to create a new subdomain, so the customer experience in the FO will change and I don't want that.
