What options are available for stock management ?

Hello All,

since advanced stock management has been discontinued, please tell me what options do I have for managing stocks ? what are you using ?

I am in 1.6 and I think that I will stick to it for a good while

In PS 1.7 advanced stock managment is still not available, the only stock fonctionnalities are :

1. change stock manually (increment or decrement)
2. view movements history

According to me there is no addons to add same functionalities in PS 1.6 😞

I'm using WK Warehouses module 🙂

I will look over it. Also I would like another behavior for shop : to decrease stock only when invoice has been issued or order has been shipped.

For change stock on desired order status

you can use 

hook actionOrderStatusPostUpdate 

and update stock based on status 

Or  Override 

classes/order/OrderDetail.php

or update checkProductStock function as per your need
