  1. Hi, Could you elaborate as I have the same error. Cheers All Sorted. Downloaded the latest version of Paypal which it resolved it.
  2. Yep you're right. I checked their website and read it as it was compatible with 1.5 and 1.6 which it is but they provide two versions of the theme. I checked my download folder and fortunately I'd downloaded both versions so I should be able to upgrade PS to 1.6 and use the 1.6 version of the theme.
  3. Hi, I upgraded to 1.6 from 1.5 and now I have a blank page so I turned on error reporting and got the following, Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Unable to load template file '/home5/markcoo1/public_html/funkyfashionjewellery.co.uk/themes/leoclot/./layout//header.tpl' in '/home5/markcoo1/public_html/funkyfashionjewellery.co.uk/themes/leoclot/./header.tpl' <-- thrown in/home5/markcoo1/public_html/funkyfashionjewellery.co.uk/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php on line 129 Any idea how to fix this please. Cheers, Dahl
  4. The images in your slider are blurred and your product images on the homepage are too small.
  5. You need to make a backup of your shop and database before the upgrade. Copy your shop from the server to your PC using FTP which you must have used to upload the Prestashop files. Then in the shops back office under Advanced Parameters go to backup database and make a backup. You can then upgrade your shop. Should it go wrong you can upload your backup files and database.
  6. Are you trying to upgrade your shop to 1.5 if so here's a useful link - http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Updating+PrestaShop
  7. There are several free image sliders available on the forum. Here's a link to a list that Vekia has created - http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/233442-free-modules-list-only-valuable-and-proven-solutions-31032014/ For changing the background you could try this free module - http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/286968-background-switcher-free/ Hope that helps.
  8. I like the graphics at the top of the page and colours match the product but perhaps a too much black. Maybe have a large image of one of the vehicles as a background but in black & white. I think a slide show at the top would help showcase some of your products. The Tervis image on the right column is not aligned correctly. I would change the fonts in the description area I find them a little bit difficult to read. Cheers
  9. Nice clean, easy to navigate and informative site. Could do with a bit more content but I guess that will come as you develop and add to it.
  10. Hi Paul, thanks for looking at my site again, you're a star. I've corrected the Australian Dollar to AUD but I'm not sure why The Twitter, Google and Facebook links look like they are missing a little bit at the bottom. It's not anything Leo has done it's a module called "addsharethis". I've been looking at the css but I can't seem to correct it. When I click on the link in "Free modules list - only valuable and proven solutions" created by Vekia in Free Modules it says [#10340] You do not have permission to view this topic. Thanks, Dahl
  11. I've gone and bought a theme and been configuring it. Still a bit to do yet but getting there. Any new thoughts on the site now. Cheers
  12. Hi Vekia, the url is funkyfashionjewellery.co.uk Thank you.
  13. Hi Vekia, If I disable one of the languages and leave just a default that's when I get the 404 errors. If you click on a product it still tries to find mysite.co.uk/gb In another thread El Patron asked me why I had a redirect to /gb to which I replied I don't know as it's not anything I'd setup. According to GTmetrix.com redirecting to /gb adds 1.43 seconds to my load time. Cheers
  14. Hi, I would only need to have English (GB) as my default language but if I delete all other languages I just get 404 pages. If I install another language even if it's English (US) the site works fine, as in the links to products etc.. The problem is when I have 2 languages the url defaults to mysite.co.uk/gb and having the /gb adds seconds to my load time. If I delete English (US) and just have English (GB) the site defaults to mysite.co.uk which is when I get the 404 errors. Any ideas how I can get this to work correctly. I'm using PS 1.5.4.1 Cheers
  15. Wow. Thank you for the latest feedback El Patron, Kbytin and Haylau. You would have had a lot more things to say about the site if you'd seen the original version which I thought was good at the time but on reflection was not. The points you have made are very helpful. I have enabled friendly urls as suggested by El Patron something I had enabled a while ago. El Patron noted last time that my url the read as funkyfashionjewellery/gb but we weren't sure why. It's not something I have setup. Any ideas why? With regard to site being sluggish please see this post http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/314620-very-slow-site-6-20-seconds-to-load/?do=findComment&comment=1592383 I'll look at the currency drop down colour. I've not been able to resolve the site loading speed even after talking to my host which is in the US. I will have a look at this. Good points raised about descriptions which I'll look at. The stock levels were probably wrong when you looked at the site because I upgraded to 1.6 which messed things up so I rolled back and all the stock levels reset to zero. Yes testimonials would help. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Is the overall look of the site OK though? Thanks dahl
