  1. Thank you 'Dasher3000' your instruction were excellent. I made the 'Pick Up' shipping fee in step 3 to $1.00 then changed to $0.00 after test. Great instructions, easy to follow.
  2. Maybe I have worded this incorrectly in the google, but I cannot find help on how to change/edit the 'Sort by' drop down list in the category list. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thank you
  3. Ok, I solved it. I had to change my MAMP ports to the default Apache and MySQL ports. Not sure how WAMP works for windows, but I assume it's the same: Here are the steps: Start MAMP Go go 'Preferences' Click Ports tab Click 'Set to default Apache and MySQL Ports' Hope this helps
  4. jmaybes, you might also want to consider a module called Avalara. Supposedly, the module takes care of all the hard work for you, and they update it regularly. I spoke to a gentlemen name Cleat, very knowledgable, they will assist you with installing and configuring the module as well. His phone: 503-747-7644. Good luck
  5. Yes, Chrome browser cache is cleared. Also tried Safari, same. I created an .htaccess and still the same problem.
  6. I installed a clean version of Prestashop 1.4.9 on my MAMP localhost. Everything went smooth until I deleted the install folder and renamed the admin folder to admin123. Then when I entered the username and password in the login to access BO and it gave me a Server Error. I deleted everything and tried it again with new install thinking the original install was corrupt, but I'm betting the same error. I can see the login.php file is in the admin folder. Not sure what I did wrong? HELP Please!
  7. Hello tjg, it should be instant, you shouldn't have to wait to see results?
  8. Glad I could help! Sometimes it's a pain to post back in these forums because we're so busy, but then you realize how gratifying it is when you can help someone. Awesome! Mike
  9. This might sound like a stupid question, but I'm new to all this, how do you add SOLVED to this post? I've seen it on other messages, but how did they do it?
  10. I'm sorry I unselected the wrong one, but I now unselected the 'Shipping and handling' as you suggested, and still it's still charging tax on shipping. (see attached). The shipping charges come from a range I specified: 0-25=$3 25-50=$5 etc.
  11. If I select no shipping, then NO shipping is charged. I still want to charge shipping, I just don't want tax charged on shipping.
  12. Thank you for responding Bill, I'm sure I have the proper setting as you can see, anything else I can check?
  13. I'm trying to remove the state tax from being charged on shipping. I'm using 1.4.8.2. I do need the charge applied to total purchase, but NOT the shipping. My shop: www.TemptingAccessories.com Thank you
