Good evening Does anyone know if there is a way of including a free virtual product with specific products purchased ? Just to explain, some of the products I will be selling are gemstones and I have created a virtual download of the use and care giving detail on various elements of gemstone use and I want this to go free when someone has purchased a gemstone item. Otherwise it is priced to buy as a download pdf. If anyone can give me any guidance on this I would be appreciated. many thanks

Good evening all I have again tested this out and I am still only seeing order confirmation with no links for the download. Can anyone shed some light on this please as to why the correct email is not being sent out. As I have mentioned below, I have checked it is a download product so not sure where the problem lies. Any help appreciated, many thanks Good afternoon I am busy setting up and testing my store. Using PrestaShop™ 1.5.3.1 I have one download product, the rest are physical products I would post out. Having problems with the virtual download in that it is not being sent as a link in an email to buyer. I have set the product up for Product Information as virtual product and under the left hand tab Virtual Product have added the product pdf file and ensured I have selected yes for 'Does this product have an associated file?' etc When I test and purchase this product I receive the order confirmation as normal which tells me what I have purchased ( the usual email which gets sent out order_conf ). There is no link in this email for the virtual download. I have read through the forum and I understand the email which should be sent is the download_product email. Can someone please offer advice as to why the correct email is not being sent out and how I fix it. Many thanks in advance. kind regards Chel

Good evening all I am using the latest version of prestashop and have a question please about the description box for categories. I have a few paragraphs with line space between. When I hover with mouse over the category block the text is fine with all the line spacing between paragraphs. When I click on that category and I show all the text it is all one block. I then added <br><br> in the backoffice of the desciption box for the categories between the paragraphs. Now when I hover of the cateogory name from the categories box it shows the <br><br> text and when I click on that category itself and expand the text it shows fine with all the line spacing. Can anyone offer advice on how I fix this please. i want line spacing between the few paragraphs I have to make for easier reading. Many thanks in advance.

Good evening I am running PS version 1.4.5.1 and have had no trouble with opening and printing the invoice and delivery slips, until now. Main main means is the use of my laptop running Windows 7 and have printed successfully the delivery notes etc, when I click on the 'view delivery slip' it used to ask did I want to open or save and I would open and then print. For some reason it only gives me a save or save as option now and if I clicked this nothing happens. However, if I use a different computer which I think is running window xp, it all works fine. So at the moment when I receive an order I have to run to another computer to print the delivery slip off which is pretty frustrating. It is obviously linked with my laptop! My laptop still has the pdf viewer so this has really confused me. Any ideas anyone ? Feedback gratefully received. many thanks Chel

If I do the upgrade then will this resolve this issue ? And how do I get my configuration to that so I can use the automatic upgrade which I used previously? I also have another anomally which does not make sense to me. Thanks Chel I have selected browse and chosen the word document and clicked submit but not sure where to now see it. I do not think it has attached. Good evening I am currently running 1.4.5.1 and when I did the upgrade to this version I used the Upgrade tab in the back office and it all worked fine. I was wanting to upgrade to the latest version but when I click on the Upgrade Tab and look at my status I get "Your current configuration does not allow upgrade." What does this mean and what will I need to do in order for my store's configuration to allow for these automatic upgrade? Any advice gratefully received. many thanks Chelle

Good evening I am using current version of PS. Working through changing the emails to my colour theme. When I get to order confirmation I see this is now using {delivery_block_html} and {invoice_block_html}. I have managed to change the block background colour to orange and the header text and address information to white, BUT the name of the person for both delivery and invoice is in PINK. I want to change this to white also. I have tried to find where this one line is but failed. Can someone please enlighten me as to how I change this link of text for the persons name from pink to white???? Many thanks in advance. kind regards Chelle

Good evening When I first setup my store it was with version 1.4.0.17. I did a copy of the prestashop theme and renamed the copy and customised it. I have been following upgrades and tonight managed to upgrade to the latest version. Question I would imagine the files in the prestashop theme have been updated and presumably have better SEO handling for instance. To take advantage of a proper upgrade (my theme would not be included in an upgrade presumably) is there a way of upgrading my customised theme to ensure I am running with all the latest code in all the files? Or do I have to manually copy the latest prestashop theme and literally redo it over from scratch? Not quite sure what is best here. Can anyone enlighten me please. many thanks Chelle

Hi I am having the same problem with attribute combinations and have come across this thread: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/134886-attributes-groups-and-atrributes/page__hl__combinations+not+calculating+price__fromsearch__1 I have had a little go on my test environment and by generating the combinations it looks like it works but I am still tweaking to get it calculating how it should. But this is where you need to look to get this feature working correctly. Rgds Chelle
