  1. Correct me if I am wrong, but the title reads "PayPal 3.7.2 and PrestaShop 1.5.6 don't work" and given the vague explanation on the first post I felt it was necessary to post my problem here (again I use the title in my defence). My problem also consisted of checking permission, and there is a high possibility that there is an override issue....but as to what is causing it? Since my problem isn't producing a sufficient (or visibly notable) error log, I have no choice but to scan the forums in hope I will find a solution to my "unknown" problem. Similar, same or different I am still unaware of my issue or its solution. So to say that I am unwelcome to post here is ludicrous and I state facts when I say that any same bug can show different symptoms. Anyway's I'm assuming that there may be an override issue which is causing redirection problem, of which I was only able to figure out when I turned on sandbox mode and turned on the Presta Error log (set define to TRUE). The quote above is/was my main symptom, when using the PayPal module in Live Mode, I was able to produce this error. The payment goes through but the "redirect" stopped the customer coming back to the order complete page, I tried searching "PayPal Blank Page / Error 500" and I came across this topic among many. Evidentially, I attempted each and every solution (since my error log was deemed useless). The error message I was eventually given. Error code: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS Anyway's I guess I'l make a post that comprises of all these errors. Thanks anyway's
  2. I have, they said there is no limit to the redirects on my website. Could this have anything to do with SSL ? I've made sure that my shop was installed into the public_html (avoiding any redirects from original domain to sub directory). I've even regenerated my .htaccess and checked permissions, database directories/paths and everything seems to be absolutely fine. I went ahead and removed my paypal module and tried using 3.4.5 instead, even this brings back the same error (take into account this is sandbox mode). API credentials are all correct aswell (or i would not even get to paypay OR i'd get the error 500 , blank page). Any ideas? I've tried searching 310 error but even if the topic is noted as SOLVED, the posters never added a solution (kind fucking selfish really). As for response from the creators of this god aweful module , well i'm having no luck (they just state the obvious which is NOWHERE close to my issues). Please can someone one on one this with me (im willing to set up an admin account for whom can help). 3. I went ahead and turned on sandbox mode, set up the Test API and proceeded with checkout as per normal, again it seems everything is going as it should apart from the redirect from paypal -> my shop. I've turned on the logs in php.ini AND on the presta DEFINE script, anyways...I'm not getting any logs for this apart from one that occurred in chrome The web page athttps://www.brightbusinessuk.co.uk/shop/modules/paypal/express_checkout/payment.php?token=EC-003382250R011710U&PayerID=22WZ4BGYRWFY4has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer. 4. Okay, I will replicate the error. Can i post my error log here for more assistance?
  5. It is the same / similar problem, the payment process is going through fine but the customer is being returned back to a blank page (error 500). I have made my own post and since when do YOU get to tell me where to post or not? Do one , rude tart.
  6. I'm getting this error yet the only two remotely related post's have not helped me in the slightest, Is there anything else that can cause this issue ? All my folders are set to 755 and files 644 for the paypal module via FTP, the zipcode/postcode is set as mandatory (ithink , not sure what process i need to do) and I'm using the original bootstrap theme
  7. I need an alternative to this god damn module, why is it so hard just to install / set API and allow payments? I can't even produce / find the error in my logs for god sake and its slowing down my launch! PLUS no one on here seems to be replying???
  8. I'm getting this problem too ( i managed to replicate the same issue as in the link below) http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/351934-solved-paypal-error-after-payment/ Not entirely sure why this module is allowed to be put up as an addon if theres no support and its ruining our payment gateways?
  9. Hello, I understand that this problem has been talked about in some depth, but my problem still persists even in reference to an older post . I can confirm that the zip / postal code is mandatory (as the paypal module throws this error when it has not been set), I can also confirm that I have looked into my event logs (apache logs and php related) and i still can not find the problem! The payment (as described in the older post) still goes through, but the customer is left at a blank page (until they refresh and they get an error of somesort). I am using the original bootstrap theme, so I do not understand how a fresh install could pull up such an error (if the two already worked as they should?) I have noticed that in the PayPal module manual, there is an option to select if the Theme overide's redirection page (or it infact uses the suggested one)...my module does not have this? Can anyone help me with this please?? EDIT : I've put the PayPal module into TestMode (sandbox mode) and I get this error when I proceed to paypal. <b>PayPal response:</b> TIMESTAMP -> 2014-10-07T17:26:19Z L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002 L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error
