  1. If you are receiving a 500 error its probably because of permissions that are not set correctly on your setup. I would check those first then ask your hosting company to check things over. Mine was due to a php compiler that wasn't workign correctly. Good luck.
  2. I know I should not duplicate posts, but I could really do with someone helping with this matter, see this bug tracker for details: http://www.prestashop.com/bug_tracker/view/6788/ Anyone out there to help?
  3. Hi Twins Can I recommend that you try this on a workstation using Xampp rather than IIS. The system is written for a Linux based system not Windows and therefore operates better. I haven't used 1.3.6 although 1.3.5 does have a few bugs, expected really but usually you get a fix from here. Good luck with it
  4. Hi Bruno, I still haven't found a fix for this? Please can you help asap.
  5. [sOLVED] Issue was down to the hosting company!
  6. Yes this is related to scenes, but if you tick the categories below each of them you can assign them. The main shot on the home page is in Home Page Editor, this is a module not a just an image. If this has solved your problem please reply with [sOLVED] as the subject. Thanks and glad to be of help.
  7. Have you not got the option in Catalog -> Image Mapping? Which version are you using?
  8. The easy way to get around this to look at the image mapping feature within the Catalog -> Image Mapping. I use this feature to assign an image to each of my categories rather than used the scaled down ones of the products. Create an image then assign it to the category underneath, if you need to alter the size Preferences -> Image Size and alter the large_scene image sizes there. Hope this helps.
  9. Hi Guys Getting an Internet 500 Error in the Back Office when browsing the catalog, tried to regen the htaccess file also tried disabling a few modules in case that was the error. Also enabled the reporting of errors in the config file but the only thing reported it the error logs on my host: [Wed Jan 12 18:04:03 2011] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] File does not exist: /home/rpf/public_html/500.shtml Anyone can help would be appreciated.
  10. Also to update you that I have posted this to the bug tracker.
  11. Is there no workaround at the moment? I need to get this site up and running like ASAP!!! Thanks
  12. See screenshot below. Just to update you that I have friendly urls configured too, this was how it was workin previously.
  13. Hi, just seen your post and am going to apply the same. As for VAT, hmmm this appears to be quite strange as if you send out deliveries via Royal Mail they are exempt from VAT. Take a look here for further information. http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channelsPortalWebApp/channelsPortalWebApp.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=pageVAT_ShowContent&id=HMCE_CL_000114&propertyType=document I have found other carriers do actually charge VAT on their service. Hope this helps.
  14. Hi, have upgraded Prestashop to 1.3.5 from 1.2.5 but do notice that it is slightly slower than the previous version. My question is that the exceptions with the BO -> Modules -> Positions do not work. Am trying to exclude the Categories from displaying on a certain page ie. cms.php?id_cms=8 but this is not applying now. Can anyone help or do I have to revert to the previous version as it was working previously. Any help would be appreciated, thanks..
  15. Hi Torbz Can i make a suggestion, try installing a local version and doing the upgrade on that to see if any problems should occur. Just make sure you backup everything before carrying out the upgrade. Check any modules you have purchased too to make sure they are compatible.
