  1. I've similar cosmeticproducts in different sizes. Like a 50ml and a 100ml product Do I need to make 2 products? (if yes, how do I copy a product) or is there a smart option to do this? (i've tried attributes, but this gives the same price)
  2. [sOLVED] OK that was good info. I'm 100% I never changed the password, but I created a new user for the database Then I changed the DB_USER and the DB_PASSWD in settings.inc.php And now it works again thx
  3. I've seen others has the same problem when the cookies are cleared. I use regular CCLEANER which cleans all cookies... But if a visitor use a cookiecleaner she/he cann't visit my shop anymore??? anyway I still cann't enter my webshop (
  4. Two weeks ago I installed Prestashop and all worked fine. I put in some categories and products Today I want to work on my webshop but the only thing I get is "Link to database cannot be established." In both front- and backoffice Is there a way I can enter my webshop again?
  5. php.ini it isn't accessible for me. (I can't even find it). and things like " ; error_reporting ; Default Value: E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE ; Development Value: E_ALL | E_STRICT ; Production Value: E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED " I don't understand. Sorry. I think it's to techy for me. I try in a few weeks. Hope the bug is solved then Thanks for your sweet responses
  6. This is a bug in prestashop. Google this and you find a lot of people have the same problem. (like me) It has something to do that the newest "php something technical" don't work older prestashop program or so. Anyway, prestashop is not ready for the up to date webhosters. some solutions are in this threat http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewreply/127400/
  7. I dont have wamp. Just uploaded it to my webhosting. I searched for php.ini (it's not there)
  8. Still the same. Re uploaded all. But on step 3 the "next" button is dead another forum tell many people have the same So, I think it's a bug in the prestashop software?
  9. Tried that but it don't exist if I do http://www.mysite/ it goes automatic to http://www.mysite/install (there it hangs on step 3, without any error message (although all signs were green) If I do what you say: http://www.mysite/admin it automatic go to http://www.mysite/admin/install and give a not found error page
  10. This is not what happen to me. There is no response on the 'next' button in step 3 of the installation. But I saw in another forum it's a mayor bug and nobody can install prestashop because prestashop don't work together with software mayor hosting providers uses. I am go to other software anyway. I don't have time to dive deep in to a technical snakepit. Good luck all with this software.
  11. Hi, I'm a non techie. Just try prestashop as I saw a great demo. I've uploaded the files to my hosting-provider (starthosting.nl) Started the installation And yeeppy!!.. I got all green ticks. And even step3 "verify Database configuration gave a Green 'V' (Database is connected.) The test email was delivered correctly but then... I hit the "Next" button a zillion times but nothing happens. I've googled this problem and the suggested 'do another prefix' didn't work for me Anyone an idea?
