This is very strange. Using a theme called Matrice. I've uninstalled a few modules and it's appeared to resolve the issue. No idea how they could have been affecting them, but there you go.

Since upgrading today from 1.2 I've noticed the default category option on the product back office office page has changed. It will no longer give me the option to change the listing to show a product in another category. Just allows to add or remove from the home page. Anyone know if this is a bug?

Resolved the issue. The new Layered navigation block v1.4 by PrestaShop does not work with Matrice. Disabled it and everything works now. It's not listed in the hooks but sometimes other modules not listed do work so originally thought it was OK.

Installed this today and I'm having a problem with the filter appearing and not displaying my products on the cat page. Anyone know how to edit the filter or even disable? (searched modules with no luck)

I'm having the same issue even with the new 1.4.4.1 version.

Ah, now I cant even create a fresh install. Updating Prestashop is a complete nightmare. The updated version in my sub-folder works but very slowly when loading categories. So I need to create a new version but the databases wont even connect now when trying a fresh install. Starting to hate prestashop.

I'm a genius. Made a backup of the original re-writing script Presta generated in my old .htaccess file. Used that then updated the file names to include new sub-directory. Now it's working. Has to be said the .htaccess auto-generate in the back office did not work. Very annoying. If I had not have made that backup I would not have been able to fix this.

I now think I've just got a problem with re-writing in general... :-|

I tried this solution (thanks for posting) but now my database isn't working. No photos from it appear and the product pages don't work. Any ideas? >>> Update: WHen I turn URL re-write off the database works fine from subfolder location.

I'm getting the same issue with the latest version 1.4.4.1, after about 2mins it loads part of the page but with missing icons etc... Anyone know what is causing this issue with the latest version? Have tried all the edits from previous posts with no change.

I've also tried re-crawling the site but the wrong description is still there. It's also incorrect in Yahoo as well (if that helps).

Completely different. The text on Google doesn't even come from the home page. The attachement I've included shows the meta description that it should be.

My site description in Google is not that of the Meta Description as I want. Can anyone assist me? Search for Edward Wilson Photography in Google. www.edward-wilson.co.uk I've searched everywhere including the modules and I'm stuck.

Can anyone suggest what might be the problem? *(It's not a case of me typing in the old admin URL by the way)* From what I can see all my settings are correct. Mamp is set to PHP5. Tried many different browsers. Front office works fine. And I do see the login page, it's just when I press login that it shows "missing file".

I've deleted the install folder. The read me files and re-named the admin folder. Its when I re-name the admin folder that the file can't be found. Has anyone else had this problem?
