Hi

Ive searched the forum but couldnt find anything.

Ive used my usual Faivonc generator and found in the files

/themes/prestashop/img/favicon.ico

So I replaced the oringal Favicon with mine, but nothings happening

Any Ideas?

You probably need to refresh your cache. A simple browser refresh usually won't do it right away.

Hi! I found that the site is reading the (v1.1) logo and the favicon.ico from /img/favicon.ico directory, not the theme
whether that is intended or not, I dont know but this is the default behaviour.

Hi

I have also troubles uploading favicon.ico via prestashop backend.
Prestshop says:"succefully added", but nothing is displayed.

tried also to upload via FTP to: /img/favicon.ico

but still favicon.ico (16x16 px) is not displayed.

Any suggestions?

where can you change the code if i wanted to use 2 favicons ?

eg,

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico"> <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favico.gif">

as i am using 2 (1 animated and still) as both dont work in IE

Yes I had the same problem replacing the favicon. Had to do it in cPanel in the end.

Try clearing your cache and try in a different browser usually it can take 15-20 mins to kick in m8. But it will be there whats your site called, il see if i can see it :-)

if its topgiftsuk.co.uk isnt that cubecart ??
