  1. Thank you! Usually I'm really careful but it was something that seemed so dang simple that I wasn't paying close enough attention I guess. Seemed like the thing to do at the time. Now, not so much. I'll grab a clean version and hang my head in shame. Thank you for the link and you help!
  2. Oh my goodness I think I love you. Seriously. There's still something wonky in the CMS Block and the icons in the footer. Looks like the phone icon in the nav under the top banner is off too. Would you happen to know where that error is?
  3. I broke my store that I'm setting up. I don't know what I did and I can't find the error. I was in global.css at: header .nav I was only making a simple change by adding a top border but I must have done something else by accident because it is all messed up now. Sad face... I un did my change to the border but that did not fix it. I hope someone will please help me. temporary site location: http://splitcreekfarm.pswebstore.com/
  4. Why does it need to be set to no? Front Office is working fine. Have no issues with the SSL in the front office.
  5. No I didn't install a SSL. I assumed the back office was on a shared sll because it has been that way since I signed up my shop (and before I had this particular problem). From the first time I set up up my shop it has taken me to a signin page under SSL. PrestaShop → My Store → Manage My Store → Back Office Sign In Page. The url that I am directed to is https://mystore.com/backoffice There is an SSL option for what I assume is the front office in Preferences → General → Enable SSL see screen shot attached. Either way, I hadn't changed any of those settings during the time of my current problem. I was only editing product attributes for products. I had edited about 15 or so without any issue and then I edited another in the same way and ...wonky begins. I thought cache was deleted automatically with the settings under Advanced Parameters → Performance and enabling Clear Cache → Clear cache every time something has been modified. See attached screenshot. I did go ahead and clear it but it did not fix my problem. I had changed no settings at the time this problem arose. I was only editing products as I am setting up a new store.
  6. I was editing product attributes. Everything was working fine. I had edited several attributes without any problems. Then suddenly I had a problem. I was only changing the text value of the attribute. After I clicked save, I got a page not available. I am not able to add, modify or delete any product attributes now. It sends me to the webpage not available. It has also caused the back office to slow and stall. I am also now not able to log in directly to my backoffice from https as I normally do. I get to the log in screen but when I click log in, it just sticks. I am able to get around that by going to my backoffice through www.mysite.com/backoffice without https. Something is wonky. How do I fix and did I somehow cause this to happen while editing an attribute? UPDATE: Yikes! Also can not add or change any products.
  7. I'm new to Prestashop. Is there a simple way to make some minor customizations? I would just like to tweak some wording, remove or hide some input fields, set a background color, and change a few basic colors. Specifically right now I want to remove the birth date field on the checkout page. I'd like all of the unnecessary info fields removed from checkout; company, title, receive special offers from our partners ticker, & sign up for our newsletter ticker. I'd also like to change the Mobile Phone field title to just Phone. It would be nice to be able to put a line of text under the Phone title with a short explanation of why that's needed. Invoice Address changed to Billing Address, and Delivery Address changed to Shipping Address. Also "Delivery Methods" changed to Shipping. Is there a way to remove the automatic popup in the shipping options field that says "fastest" or "best price" etc? Change "Leave a Message" to Order Notes or Comments..something like that. Instead of "Gift Wrap", I'd rather it just say "Add a Gift Note". My customers are funny. I love them but if the wording isn't just right then they will call and call and call me. I don't have time for that. The basic template layout is fine for my needs (so far anyway). I just can't figure out a simple way to tweak headings, titles, form fields, and basic colors. Thank you!
