Hello everyone, I am writing in this forum because I am quite desperate because the website has been offline for a few days due to something I do not know how to solve ... I try to retrace the steps ... a few days ago I realized that the back office and front office of my website was offline ... after promptly contacting my hosting provider's assistant I discovered that the reason why my website was not working was because it was not compatible with newer versions of PHP (7.3+). When they first announced that they will be discontinuing older PHP versions, they stated that we will give by the end of 2021 for customers to make their websites compatible with newer PHP versions. they gave more than enough time for all pending updates to be handled, exactly due to the fact that once the time comes for older PHP versions to be removed, this change cannot be reverted or postponed. PHP versions, which are older than 7.3 are no longer available on our servers. They suggested to me, In order to be able to make my Prestashop 1.6.1.13 website compatible with newer PHP versions, I would need to update its core and components. and they said that the oldest Prestashop version that supports PHP 7.3 is 1.7.7. The Prestashop version 1.7.8 supports PHP 7.4. Now the problems...I tried to upgrade my prestashop to the latest version 1.7.8.5 and after several attempts I was able to update and log in, but after checking if all the products and all the orders were present, after some operations in the back office it is the blank page returned and the site went offline ...and I recieved different rorroes about php...I think that something is corrupted o non compatible... and after activating now I ask you ... is it possible to do a new clean installation on the same domain as the latest version of prestashop renaming old folder installation and then import the old data (images, orders, customers, products and all settings)? I hope that some of you experts can help me because I don't know what to do anymore ... thanks in advance to anyone who can give me some tips and help me solve this problem. Hello everyone, is there an automatic way to take product name from the short description? Let me clarify..I import products from an external software where I can put description i.e "MAN SHIRT RED" and it send it to the short description field but it doesn't compile product name. So i would like to copy what is in the short description field to the product name field. Is it possible? thank you in advance Matt

Hello, because of a module I recently installed it created issues to my catalog. It duplicated combinations of many products. So I have duplicated skus for products with variations (sizes/colors) as you can see from image attached. The products with duplicated combinations are too much...so cancelling manually one by one it's hard and takes too much time. There is a SQL command to check duplicated combinations/sku and to delete them? I hope so..because it is creating many problems to my website :/ Please help me Best regards

But I need to know if I want to add others text fields or radio button selection how can I do that in the cmscontroller.php file so that when someone sens me email I recieve all the informations compiled in the contact form? thank you in advance

Hello Prestashop Gurus I have a strange request but I hope you could help me. I was thinking if there is a way to have the same value in ean13 (for products with and without combinations) in the UPC field. Is there a code to make this condition like "if the field EAN13 is compiled copy this value and past it in the UPC field"? It's strange..I know..but I need to do this please help me thank you in advance

Hello! I've a strange bug in my website. When I search a product in the search result page I see all the results but the last two results are the same. It seems like the last product searched is rewrited and it duplicate the second to last product. But in the back end the last product is another one. I've tryed to see in the searccontroller.php but I can't figure out where it could be the bug My website is footballitalia Try to search the word "canotta" you will see 6 results the last two are the same I hoope you can help me finding the solution regards

Hi Nemo1, The customization module is in the same product page. When you click on "Personalizza" (Customize) you move down in the customization section, but according this module you need to select the size before customize the product. So I would like to display another size drop-down selector just in the customization section.

Hello, I was thinking if there is the possibility to add another size selector in the same product page (like in the example attached image) I need that the added selector works as a copy of the original. Some my store products are customizable and the customization module is in the same product page and the customer has to select the size before adding customization in the cart. Hello to everyone, I hope someone could help me to unsterstand why guest orders are not tracked from the native Prestashop module for referrers "Tracking Front Office". I made a test order registering on the website. And the module tracked the order. Then I created an order using guest checkout but guest is not tracked and also in the referrers statistics the order is not recordered... Why so?? It's a problem if guest customers sent from the referrer website to my website are not tracked I need to solve this problem as soon as possible. Someone could help me? Thank you!!!

Hello, I have a big problem with the search results when I switch on the next pages. When I search with keyword it displays all the results and I see down on the right the total of results but when I go on page 2 it says "Please enter a search keyword" :/. Something is not working well.
